I liked the first movie quite a bit and was looking forward to seeing this sequel, esp. with several of the original characters. II was a real number 2. It seemed to be a rehash of some scenes from the original and new scenes that fell flat. There were a number of new characters, but they were non-essential to the story. Completely disliked Winona Ryder's character, so unlike the child she was. I watch the original when it plays on TV, but will never watch this one again. Wish I had seen some reviews before hand, would not have wasted our time seeing II.
