Ingrid Lickiss

I actually think this is a 3 star movie, but am hoping to lower the overall score in hopes that blumhouse is encouraged to do better next time. I was excited to see a good horror movies but this wasn't it. Some actors did great, some did not. The plot was not great. Some cgi was great, some was not. The soundtrack was consistently beautiful but out of place. The script is the weakest part of this film. The scenes that built suspense would have worked if they had been given better writing. It seems like a rough draft and I'm glad I didn't pay to see it in theaters. Aldis Hodge and Elisabeth Moss you are talented and I hope you are given more to work with in the future.
