It's like putting the notion of "mother" in the realm of monsters. you can see how dangerous a mother can become. A mom who lost his kid in a very heart-breaking way tries to win back the lost kid of hers. To do so, she does everything no matter how cruel it is. Still you can see some traces of motherhood in this pretty yet weird "mom."
By the way, the acting was in the least level of existence or namely sucks, the dialogues were not helping the story line, and the atmosphere of the movie was sometimes distracting; a big cliche.
All in all, I liked this movie because of its eerie music, outstanding cinematography, and the idea behind the script. Thanks everyone, hell of a ride.
p.s: I'm okay with the scene where a mother chokes his son unintentionally - *spoiler alert* - , but come on! Strangling a gerbil by a python... . there was no point in that. unrelated and not quite close to being professional.
