Needed more time with the scriptwriters. Maybe even with more experienced scriptwriters to rewrite actions that the protagonists take that seem to go against commonsense be more believable. I prefer The Ghost and The Darkness from the 90s. Edit: and they keep leaving doors behind them open: car doors, house doors, all doors - elementary methods to create tension.
