This is truly one of the best shows I’ve seen in a LONG time. It’s so proud of what it is and what it offers- comedy, romance, representation, masculinity in what it can mean to embody a man, PIRATES! , historical costuming, (slightly less historical costuming), incredibly compelling characters and story, and Taika Waititi being incredibly attractive (respectfully, 😳). I would recommend this to anyone and everyone there is, it’s silly, it’s wonderful, and makes me smile so much. Our flag means death has filled a hole in my heart I didn’t know I had. If it miraculously doesn’t get renewed after all the positivity it’s received, I will throw a fit and cry. Watch the show. (Of course keeping in mind it is a little mature, a bit of nudity and gore and all that)
