I loved it. For those screaming ' woke ', get over it. It isn't your story. These are African Queens. Want to see something Eurocentric, watch Braveheart or something. I love the stories about Cleopatra and Njinga. We need more of this.

I got into Xena while watching the episode where she meets Hercules ( I loved Hercules the Legendary Journeys). It was so cool to see a female warrior hero. Though she had a dark past , she decided to change her ways after Hercules showed her a better path. Though the show played fast and loose with Greco-Roman mythology and history, that made it more interesting. Lucy Lawless was perfect to play Xena. Gabrielle's friendship with Xena was great . Sometimes I wondered if it went beyond friendship. There were hints. Sometimes the show was campy though it got more serious in later seasons. ( The Dahak story line was a little too dark ). Xena: Warrior Princess was ahead of its time. I still love it.

I really wanted to like this film. I love ancient Egypt ( Kemet ) and can't get enough of that sacred land and civilization. But the Hollywood whitewashing kept taking me out the story. This is about the ancient Gods of Egypt but only Thoth is played by a Black man ( Chadwick Boseman did well. Rest in Power , Brother ). If only the whole cast had reflected him, the movie would have been better.

I see from the reviews some MAGA people are upset.🤣 Oh well. Psychiatrists and psychologists weighed in on Mr. Donald Trump and found him mentally unfit to be President. Confirmation that even some Republicans can't deny. Some Trump supporter tried to use Malcolm X's comment about media to bash this as a smear against Trump😂 How unoriginal . Malcolm would roast Trump like a fried pig on a fire and so would Dr. Martin L. King. Conservative idiots love to quote our great Black activists but we know they don't love us. No historical context in anything they do. True lies exposed. Trump is a loony tune and I don't mean Bugs Bunny. Bugs was intelligent 🤓. Look at Trump's recent speeches and remarks. He is demented. Is that your ' President ' MAGA supporters ? The shame .😂🤣🤣🤣

A farce masquerading as ' truth ' is how one reviewer describes this right wing propaganda. I don't care if Dinesh D'Souza is an immigrant , a lie is a lie is a lie. The Democrats are far from saints ( they supported the KKK in the 1860s ). However they moved to the left and this is what this slanted film is really about. Donald Trump is nothing like Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln would be horrified by Trump and the Radical Republicans ( who were abolitionists ) would be outraged by the ignorant and racist party Republicans have become today. The parties have switched places it seems and Trump represents the rise of the lunatic fringe. Death of a nation indeed and Trump is the catalyst. He is the ultimate result of decades of right wing extremism. Have a good day, America and be careful of the lies pretending to be truths.

I must say this was interesting. Not sure if I needed to see a documentary series about Arnold Schwarznegger but it was very revealing. He was vain and self - important to the point he seemed totally fake. He became a famous bodybuilder and was so eager for acting, he acted as if his brother's death was nothing. He was never a good actor to me. He knew how to look ' cool '. When he started becoming a parody of himself and his movie career sank, he ' transformed ' into a very right wing politician who as Governor of California tried to pass legislation that blocked Mexican migration ( it was rejected overwhelmingly ). He slept with his maid and had children with other women while married. He admits his misogyny. He has in recent years said hate groups like the Nazis and Apartheid are ' losers '. ( His father was a Nazi. He says his father was a ' broken ' man ). He clearly doesn't like Donald Trump. He is a paradox but here he comes off self absorbed, not humble at all as some fans claim. He is greedy and materialistic and it seems he is now alone because he has alienated everyone he knew. I see nothing heroic or iconic about him at all. This all seems to be about ' congratulating ' himself. He is ' fixing ' his ' legacy ' for the ' books '. And I don't buy one bit of it .

By the time Arnold Schwarznegger made this film he had become a parody of himself. Action mixed with slapstick 1990s style. The scene with the alligators was so over the top you can't take any of it seriously. It is good for action fans who like mindless movies but don't think too hard about it or Schwarzenegger's political career after his movie career sank.

Arnold Schwarzenegger plays a character that seems to be a cross between James Bond and Rambo. A parody of parodies in a way. The storyline of him and his wife being spies but not realizing it at first is kind of crazy. I seen two other movies with this type of story. Paper thin plot held together with a lot of action and explosions. Reviewers failed to mention the totally stereotypical depiction of ' Arab terrorists ' with a nuclear bomb ready to blow up everything and ' get back at America '. Flag waving jingoistic film that is often so noisy you can't hear the dialogue. True lies is quite an ironic title because it truly sums up this film.

Hollywood version of the creation of Israel. Typical depiction of Arabs as evil terrorists. British are also shown in the worse light. No mention of the Israeli ' nationalist ' gang that blew up a hotel and killed Arabs and British people. Is it real?
