Why did Ridley Scott make a Lifetime movie? So thoroughly disappointed with this miss. Lady Gaga's accent and performance were excellent, though could not make up for Jared Leto's ridiculous accent and horrible caricature that frankly, offended me as an Italian-American. There were so many places they could have made this great - were they not able to source any authentic vintage for the Tom Ford show? I just remember those velvet cropped pants in the window at Bergdorf Goodman. That was a triumphant moment for the brand and it just fell flat in their rendition of it. And there's no empathy in the storytelling. It's just a string of unlikeable characters at times doing glamorous things, but in the end just depressingly unlikeable. Unfortunately, this movie has no heart.
