I loved this film. I wonder what critics who have disliked the film were expecting. On stage it was the musical and dance interpretation of a pretty weird set of poems about cats. If you’re looking for a Marvel movie, this isn’t it. Instead this is weird, just like when your cat goes out and wants to come straight back in. That’s why the stage musical was so great and why this movie is too.
