CTV Toronto is unaware that there's a part of Ontario only 120km away (less as the crow flies) where things happen. I get SOOOO tired of the southern Niagara Peninsula being ignored. Fort Erie, Port Colborne, etc. Aug. 5th, we had two tornadoes. What did you broadcast? A tornado touched down in Buffalo. Do you think the weather stops at the border? It hit Fort Erie first. There WAS damage. Oh, never mind we don't matter! Christmas 2022 we had the worst blizzard since 1977. Emergency vehicles pulled off the road. Have a heart attack? Tough. No power for days. Trees down. Shoreline homes looked like ice castles...BUT, Buffalo had a blizzard. Niagara Falls had some snow - nothing compared to FE and PC. Even a BBC reporter interviewed people in the GTA. "Oh, we had some snow but it wasn't bad". How would they know? Talk about self centred! CHCH from now on.
