Involves implausible elements of policing and human behaviors which was exacerbated by not having a "good baddy" on both sides with some real menace to make this anywhere near believable. Some scenes were flawed just by them not having any real moral conviction or conveyance of a threat level no matter how the actors tried. These moral issues were just not addressed i.e. the central character knew a monstrous terrorist attack was being planned but was prepared to go along with their demands as long as one of them was continually and just literally walking around with her son. Obviously had some Homeland influence, but without the menace factor. The principal male police character was so laid back he was near horizontal, and became so annoying. Two episodes to long and the theme of everybody being in grunge dress code, living in IKEA flats etc and having skeletons in the cupboard is becoming only too familiar now.
