When everything tries to be ridiculous, nothing is actually ridiculous. Farzar tries way too hard to be over the top and absurd, but it falls flat on its face because there's almost nothing in the show to ground it at all. When the setting is a ridiculous outer space sci-fi city, 90% of the characters are ridiculous sci-fi creatures, you never know if something they're doing is meant to be comical or just part of their everyday lives. It's really a shame that a good show from these creators like Paradise PD got canceled and all we're left with is freaking Farzar.
