Quite a thought: The 1st winner of two Nobel prizes was a woman. & 5 Nobel prizes within one family. As for this film it is powerful & the arty bits are an interpretation, not my cup of tea. The one deeply distressing thing is the mis-pronuniciation of both her name Marja (not Maria) & Bronia (her sister) with what you could think could have only one pronunciation even in English. This lack of attention to the Polish pronunciation of both names (when it is so easy to find out) would i suspect have made her wince too. In an otherwise thoughtful & intelligent portrayal i found this v v disappointing. (I am English. If u r in Warsaw don't miss her museum a little north of the old town.)
