Amazing film a true British gem. pure class from Mr caine. Bernie and Rene looked like my now passed beautiful nan and grandad from Nottingham, grandad was there in the navy, with my nan working at players maybe knowing Mr Bennett's sweetheart, these connections made it a hard for me to watch as they were my heroes. but well worth it. Brought me to tears many times. One of the most heart warming films I've seen in years. God bless those generations. You were living poetry from the start to the very end.

Captain Burnham brings star trek back to the masses and then ....... strange new worlds sh**s all over it with there super woke agenda against morality, Star trek stood for something, from my favourite captain Janeway to Picard the storylines where more about the universe and unity, than some utterly useless crew members woke life story that completely disregard others points of view. coincidentally coinciding with woke narratives of current politics. I want to disappear to a world outside of this not sat watching a Communist party video.

Wow, I thought they had ruined transformers with the last couple of films then I watched this, somehow they managed to sink lower? The Plot was completely non sensical Following the basic layout for all the other films with no character backstories whatso ever & have managed to create a film void of any storyline. And the ending was fickle by doing the reverse of James bond where they took his gadgets away, in this case giving undeserved rewards that they never afforded to anyone else in the franchise..... I can imagine woke people enjoyed this, probably why it's another brand that will fail. I can see them next making a specifically vocal genderless robot next. Bring back Shia.

5* One of the best endings I have seen in a film since the lord of the rings. Storyline from the film was perfect, especially when you appreciate the chronicle's from that time in history. When put into the context of the whole TV series it has become a finished work of art based off the history of the real native Britons and what we fought/fight for. Also 5* to the writers for not including "woke" agendas, a rare show untouched.
