Some scenes depicted in the 1981 film Prince of the City reminds me of the T.V. show Law and Order, but it could be because the late Jerry Orbach starred in it. Treat Willams' character is a cop who works undercover while he cooperates with the U.S. Justice Department he feels frustrated, he kicks off/sudden burst of anger when he speaks to them and says the F word many times. The film depicts scenes with some blood, assault, cursing/swearing, mentions the narcotic heroin, depicts a couple of drug addicts, uses the racist N. word twice. That's offensive, hateful, and abhorrent, and ought never be said, not ever. During the end of May 2020, a cooperative George Floyd who was a black man in his mid 40's didn't deserve to suffer or be senselessly murdered by those corrupt police officers. He was just out living his life, minding his own business when the police encroached upon him, grabbed him, slammed him to the ground, a knee was shoved into his neck, and also into his back that suffocated him, choked him, cutting off oxygen to his bloodstream, lungs, brain, and heart, and he screamed out that he couldn't breathe! Then he went into cardiac arrest and died. The police murdered him! The prosecuting attorney said that three out of the four police officers were complicit in the crime against George Floyd because they did nothing, and stayed silent. All of the officers have since been fired, and the trial is still going on. The film has a big script and so many actors. In real life a police investigation will take weeks, months or even years to bring enough sufficient, corroborating evidence to bring it to trial, so this film will probably still be quite enjoyable to watch. There's so many actors in this film. Just look at the list of cast members.
