I think that this show tried to be mainly two things. A drama about a family who experience hate and racism in the 1950's and a horror show that attempts to unnerve and scare the viewer. I think that it succeeded much better at the former than the latter. The main family are all very strong characters, as well as a few of the supporting cast, and the ghosts. The best of which, known in the show as The Tap Dance Man, honestly steals the spotlight and became the most interesting character for the few scenes he was in. The choice of music from the time period as well as the cinematography were also very well done. However, the horror was a bit less amazing and at times felt like the standard jump scare fest that you see in many movies today. The scariest/most sickening horror elements by far were the ones regarding human cruelty. "Them" is definitely worth a watch and has the characters, story, and setting to make you invested.

Godzilla vs Kong is movie made to be fun and enjoyable without too much overthinking and analyzing. For what they set out to do, I think they succeeded fairly well. As a movie where two famous monsters fight, it keeps you entertained for almost all the scenes they're in. However, the human characters are insufferable at times to watch and listen to, except for a little girl who is important to King Kong. The others are bland, unoriginal, cookie cutter good and bad, and have little to no personality. It is good that the movie understands its audience and what they want, giving plenty of its runtime to the actual monsters/titans. However, at times the story feels a bit rushed and the fights lack needed tension and suspense. Overall, I enjoyed this movie and despite its lacking characters and sensible plot, I found it to be a fun ride.

While someone who has been waiting for a Mortal Kombat movie for a while may just be happy it's here, as a movie, this was not very good. The main character has little personality other than being "a good guy." He is bland, doesn't speak at all for several scenes, and becomes more of a background character as other, more interesting people take the stage. The plot is also very jumbled, with several holes in the story and lore that is only briefly mentioned, making character's goals unknown. The action scenes, while entertaining, are short and never have any tension throughout. However, I would be lying if I said I didn't have some fun watching certain scenes, specifically the character Kano. And I enjoyed the R rating, allowing the fights to have more brutal finishing moves. Overall, I feel like this movie struggled at most aspects regarding story, action, characters, and design, yet there are still some things worth appreciating.

I think that no movie has stuck with me so strongly and vibrantly than this movie. While some have criticized its run time, I think it's perfect. It is such a large story to tell in a long timeline where you see the benefits and consequences of Frank Sheeran's life with the mob. And the most beautiful thing about the film isn't its gangster genre, but the theme you see before you at the end, with the final shot. It encompasses Frank's journey in one picture and his life now. Even aside from the story, the outfits, music, editing, cars, etc. are all so well done make you believe the setting of the story. A lot of love and work went into this movie and you can tell in every frame.

This game surprised me for having such a complex and interesting story and it easily became one of my favorites in the last couple years. The main cast of character's are all enjoyable and the voice acting is really good (I went with English.) While only a couple things bugged me, mainly climbing, the camera, and certain missions, the rest feels like such a masterpiece. The sword combat is one of the best I've played with and the word is truly beautiful. While that seems to be the thing people compliment the most, to me the story is the best part and is wonderfully written. Ghost of Tsushima is so far the best game of this year in my opinion.

This is movie is an unoriginal flop that tries to relate to people but fails when its main character is impossible to enjoy. The overall issue is the writing and bad script. I hope the cast doesn't get any hate for this bad movie when the writing should be blamed.

This game is definitely one of the best video games I've played as far as story and world building goes. I enjoyed every character and got enthralled in the depth and lore the world has. When I first got it, it had many issues and bugs which caused a lot of frustration. However, almost if not all of these have been fixed and it is much more playable and enjoyable. The developers added a lot over time after release to make it an even better experience. The story of the main character is one of my favorites, and something I doubt I will forget. I will compare all other rpgs and games to Kingdom Come Deliverance because of its impact on my understanding of what a game can achieve.
