I hardly take time to do reviews on movies or tv shows, although I watch a great amount of film. When I love something, I must write about it! I haven’t felt ‘90s nostalgia like this in a very long time. Great visuals, acting, psychology thrilling, and so different than anything else I’ve seen. It kept me entertained the entire time. (also kinda felt like the backrooms??). The Midnight Realm, Mr. Melancholy, the setting, it felt like a dream (with nightmareish feelings).

Jodie Comer deserves an Oscar for this performance. If you liked this movie, you should go and watch the show Killing Eve where Jodie plays a russian assassin.
