Besides the frame rate issues I'm surprised I'm not hearing about how hard it is to make a competitive team in this game. Sword and Shield made it incredibly easy to make a team by leaving your Pokémon in Pokémon jobs that could max multiple Pokémon EV stats. In Scarlet and Violet you have to track down specific Pokémon that give out the EVs you need and beat them up. It's time consuming, when I could be doing two things at once, like in Sword and Shield. It honestly makes me not even want to do competitive battling and I really enjoyed making teams on a whim.
