A good superhero movie. Like a gentle Jessica jones. Not political just some action and a strong mostly woman cast. I liked it. Like old marvel movies. I have not liked the most recent superhero movies. Too political. I’m surprised that people didn’t like this movie. My husband liked it too. We are in our mid to late fifties.

A movie that actually entertains! Bonkers and silly adventurous. A modern day romancing the stone without the romance. Yes. More please.

So. I agree with the 1 stars. And I also agree with the 5 stars. This was a very poorly scripted movie. I had to start and go back several times before I actually gave it a chance because the beginning is so confusing and bad that I literally was like NO. But it had redeeming qualities. It had a nice Adam Sandler u see Timmy at the end…. The cameo by Sara Michelle Gellar Prince was nice. The characters fashion costumes setting was beautiful. It had amazing music and once I got past the beginning held my interest and had several twists — perhaps too many twists? It was solid awesome satirical like clueless, legally blonde, and mean girls — HS at its best like Breakfast club, pretty in pink, some kind of wonderful, sixteen candles, Ferris butlers … and yet it wasn’t nearly as good not even close as any of those movies. It just fell short. Unfortunately. Something large was missing. What? Ill let you decide. Watch it if you have a couple hours of your life to waste. Its good to know about the weird cultural stereotypes that the world is caught up in now… and take from it what you want from your perspective at this point in your life right this moment. Netflix please do better. This wasn’t that good. You can do better. That said. My favorite part of the movie was SMGP headmaster at the end where she says that you only 17 once and its the most magical time in your life …. I think regardless of our political or social leanings we can all agree on that sage point. So whether you love woke or hate woke embrace the good amazing parts from this (like revenge is STUPID and cool is relative) — observe and acknowledge the parts that fell short and move on, because today is a gift that is why they call it the present. Why are we always always always at each others throats? Ahhh to be 17 again. Wait. I think there’s a movie called that…..

This is not an appropriate show. It is offensive. I’m watching it til the end of this season because it’s disney and I’m a disney supporter but disney U have to get it together. This does not empower women it sets women back decades. The world is different now. It’s not this tried and true divisive environment that is being perpetuated. Stop trying to divide people. We have more in common than not. Sure there’s always more work an advances to be made culturally but they have to occur organically slowly overtime in a way that is natural u can’t just start passing out entitlement cards and think it’s going to be fine. It’s hateful. I’m a 52 YO woman first gen Latina affirmative action recipient with a law degree. I’m dedicated to the advancement of all people without an intentional attempt to crush people in the meantime. Organically. I am so grateful and humbled by my opportunities. I never have felt entitled. Playing a victim would only hurt me. We can have a balanced society where everyone is respected for there individual contributions to society— it has to be an open society where opinions are respected even if they are different. I practiced law for years. This show is not a realistic portrayal of anything. This show she hulk is pure garbage. It makes my stomach turn. Who approved this show? I was a huge avenger fan before u started to add story lines to completely shift the power of characters to meet some agenda. In reality it comes off as fake and over done not empowering. What’s with the need to replace all these characters with new modern characters. Can we enjoy everyone? The new the old. The men the women. Can we embrace everyone or is everything about power now? Is everything about establishing a new king of the castle. She hulk is a lovable character a nice actress. She is. But the writing directing story line producing and the entirety of the show make her and the other women look stupid and over worked and stereotypical and really strange. I could go through every episode and pull apart the inappropriateness but I won’t. U know what u created. Rant over. Give us something fun loving happy and magical to watch please. Turner and hooch was good. It had a few rough inappropriate side NPC characters but it was overall a loving and kind and good.Get better disney. As annual pass holders … We love u so much and believe in ur magic. Bring it back.
