There is only one reality in this movie. The character Neeson portrays is writing a book! Everything else is what you want to believe is true, including whether there was a little girl in the backseat of the car with Brody or whether the Wilde character was in real- time or a recent memory of a passed affair. I believe there were only three real-time characters. The writer, his wife and his agent in Paris.
