I was impressed with the series. I learned quite a bit about the history of life on the planet, the catastrophic events that occurred during the timelines laid out. When you consider the timeline they're covering-750 billion years--it's a bit mind boggling compared to your own personal lifetime. It was interesting to watch how the various plant and animal species evolved and the significance of the inter relationship between the two. Some people may have gotten confused periodically as they moved back and forth between the timeline, rather than simply progressing in a linear fashion. However, once you got the connectivity involved, it all made sense. I also realize some people simply won't grasp the principles involved and that's ok. We all have different skills and talents and the that's what makes the world go round. If you like to learn, and you keep your eyes and ears open, you'll pick up quick a bit.

An extremely well written crime series set in Wales. A dark take on the human experience and the effects that events that can impact one's decision making. What I didn't expect--and didn't realize until later--was the thread of a storyline covering all three seasons woven into the tale. Frankly, was sorry to see the end of the series. Highly recommend the series.

I just started watching the series and have enjoyed it thus far. Binge watched Season 1 and into Season 2. I am into Season 2 and have to say I was disappointed in the writing involved around Shirin. For him to blame her for giving up his father's house location when Nilad had already ambushed both of them some time before when Dad was buying local hay is a bit weak. Any good agent for either side would have been able to track down Dad's house with a 50K range of the hay transaction. Heck, any semi-intelligent person would have reasoned that out fairly quickly. That aside, have enjoyed the series up to this point except for what I'd consider weak script around Shirin's 'betrayal.' Still endorse the series as something to watch.

Was hooked on this show from the beginning. Reminds me of Renaissance Italy with all the great families internal intrigues, assassinations and betrayals. Keeps you coming back for more after every episode. Just finished binging on Season 2. Can't wait for Season 3.

An interesting concept for a storyline about the world turning blind from a virus and the sighted are now considered "witches." There's a lot of subtle commentary on how we, as humans, tend to ostracize those of us who are different. Although there were only two or three actors I was familiar with, I thought the acting was quite excellent and would love to see them in other venues. The scenery was magnificent and haunting depending on location. A well written story and glad I stumbled across it searching for new things to watch. It is violent and the fight scenes can be a little much for younger audiences. I thought it a bit odd that a population who couldn't see would depend on a crown to identify the queen. Those kind of visual representations may have been more for an audience, but in the world of the unsighted, rather dubious. I also thought the same about the seemingly carefully manicured hands. Outside of those oddities, I thought the show was well produced and done. Can't wait for Season 3.

I was so pleased this series was restored. Season 4 did not disappoint. Well written and kept mine interest going to see what would happen next. Can't wait for next season.
