We just saw Elvis, the movie. Hands down absolutely an Oscar contender and I can’t even begin to say how unbelievably good Austin Butler is as Elvis. Not at all how I expected the movie to be. Editing is phenomenal. I wasn’t a big Elvis fan but this movie is exceptional in the way it dealt with his early life, black and spiritual music influence and his family loyalty.
