We liked it a lot. It had so many different layers and something for everyone. There was an abundance of strong, warrior women . A feast for the eyes with native clothing, incredible body art and Space ships flying thru the air. Though I was sitting in front of the tv trying to pay bills, it became impossible to concentrate on my work . I must watch it again to make sure I didn’t miss anything, Amazing❣️❣️

Just finished Season 1, were’s 2? I really enjoyed the beaches, scenery and feel of Rio. I didn’t wait to see if it was filmed there totally, but felt the vibe. All the characters were great, especially the women who fought for their own lives. I was surprised at the racism. But coming from the older, snooty parents, maybe not so surprising.

We watched JJ Rabbit tonite. I heard about it and held my breath hoping it wouldn’t be too rough. With a child leading the way, I let my guard down. We laughed a lot because the writing was so clever. A little boy obsessed with being a good Nazi was so bizarre it was crazy fun, especially with his invisible friend. Very unique story. I hated it and loved it in equal parts.

I loved it right away and it kept my attention. It wasn’t predictable. Sophia was so fresh with with her twists and turns. So many shows are the same. You can feel the actors doing their jobs but everyone in Girlboss was so natural and well done. There was never s time when my mind pulled away. I just lived every bit of it. I’m sad it hasn’t been renewed. Girlboss was delightful and original.

I’ve been tuning in every week for about three years . The format has been created so that as a viewer I learn from the patients, a primary care doctor and an expert in the evenings topic. By the time the program is over, I feel I’ve been educated in a well- rounded way. I love Dr. Saigo, the moderator . He’s warm and friendly but isn’t afraid to ask direct questions so that we have a clear understanding of the condition being covered the program.

11-18 Sadly I’ve lost interest in Mel Gibson. However my husband was watching it and I was listening from the kitchen. Before I knew it I was serving dinner in front of the tv. The actress playing his daughter is so talented. So Blood Father drew me in and I was forced to watch him along with the rest of the movie. It was well done but yes, violent!

Intriguing right from from the start . Violence, of course, it’s a western. Trying to guess their identities kept me busy. I can’t say more without spoiling the story Enjoy!

Couldn’t get past the beginning

I’m just finishing the second season. It’s an ugly, shocking tale of secret society that steals women off the street to become slaves, to produce babies in a very organized way. The thought that a writer came up with this senerio was beyond me. I could barely hang on. But the acting is so perfectly done and the script brought up so many thoughts about the journey of women, I had to continue along with these Handmaids. It’s a story that tells you how hard it would be to live past a time when inhumanity takes hold. Also the incredible creativity and imagination of the Human mind. Well done, but “ oh my God!!”

Jessica Chastain does a fantastic job in Molly’s Game. She is a fine and natural actor. The story of gambling is shocking with the amounts of money passing across the tables. Molly learns quickly while working for a man who co-ordinates these games how clandestine poker games work and decides to try her hand at it. She takes over these games with celebrity men and upgrades his poker games in a civilized atmosphere of fancy liquor, cigars and beautiful women. These men have money to burn with a “ buy in” of $50,000 . As Molly’s high stake games catch on they draw in more players and men who hide their mob ties behind masks of likability. It’s a fascinating story of a super intelligent woman who feels she has found her calling, but turns out that her goodness keeps pulling her under, unable to fight back with the caliber of corruption needed . She tried to run these high class poker games honestly and. I wanted her to succeed. I guess the nature of the beast draws in men with gambling obsessions, and as one man said, he doesn’t like poker but “likes ruining lives” No one wins in this game .
