As someone who values my freedom an awful lot, it took me a while to finish this film: I was appalled at the speed at which a happy aging person lost her freedom and possessions, it really shocked me.
I really enjoyed the acting, Rosamund Pike's character is great at twisting all the stereotypes. She's confusing as she's a kickass of a lady but she's also greedy and cares only about 3 things, and money is quite high on the list.
Archetypes of right and wrong are turned upside down and it is refreshing. It's just pretty much all wrong...
