My children asked to watch Elementals and then all fell asleep. I was so intrigued and just fell in love with this movie. Yes it is a kids movie but it has SO MANY ADULT real life topics/social issues tied into the storyline... Immigration, social and family pressures, what happens when children grow up around hate or hate speech, racism, bi-cultural/mixed race love, and living in a small minded society. Just to name a few lol... this movie had me in every aspect of my feelings from laughing to crying. There are very valuable life lessons in this movie from self realization, following your dreams, how powerful embracing your own feelings is, respecting your elders and the sacrifices they have made for younger generations, not letting sterotypes define you, treating others with respect and love, speaking your truth , tomorrow isnt promised so cherish the moments and leave nothing unsaid , NEVER GIVE UP and to always stay true to who you are and where you come from. The movie is beautiful masterpiece with amazing visuals. I have now watched 5 times, cried every time, and see something new that I didn't see before. MUST SEE MOVIE!! PIXAR AND DISNEY NAILED THIS and in my eyes pixar/disney made a great comeback as I was not impressed with there recent movies and feel like since THE RELEASE OF COCO (2017) they haven't delivered like they used to. ELEMENTALS DELIVERS and is now my favorite kid movie WELL overall movie of recent years. ELEMENTALS IS A MOVIE ANYONE CAN RELATE TO OR LEARN FROM ESPECIALLY OUR YOUNGER GENERATIONS!!! CRITICS SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO GIVE ELEMENTALS A BAD REVIEW!!! MOVIE OF THE YEAR AND RECENT YEARS!
