I read most of karen Swan's books on vacation. Loved the summery lightness and intrigue with a love interest, even liked the first of the island series but this one, the stolen hours, it's so dark, there's no joy, no lightness, no humor in this book. Not use to that with this author. So I was disappointed to a certain degree because that's not what I was expecting to read on vacation. Hope the others will be more light.
