*spoiler alert*
I'm a little upset, to be honest, that this got marked as a horror movie because there is very little action or any scares in it. It's one of those movies that tries to keep you on the edge of your seat without telling you what's actually going on and while there's very little happening. The sound effects are, in my opinion, overdone; less would be more in the context of this film. On a more personal more, my father and grandfather have/had dementia, and although I see the house as being a stand-in for Alzheimer's disease and how it's possessing the mother than the daughter, I don't like the very mixture of dementia and supernatural elements together in the movie, where we're lead to believe that everything is just the house's fault, even though at no point in the movie do they decide to just leave the house. Overall, I didn't like this film.
