Mark Ware

Not a film expert but a lover of movies. This one is a winner. Nothing about it was for one second boring, predictable or like any film I have seen in a while if ever. The acting A+ the score A+ every single thing about this movie was done on a level that should make anyone attempting to make a movie in this genre reach deep and think about what can be done when the mind and the budget flow

I love anything having to do with Samurai, Bushido and well everything Japanese. Shogun has however done something no other show has come close to doing and that is taking my mind on a trip so unexpected. 8 episodes in and have yet to see an intense sword fight. Instead I have been plunged into character development and a storyline that is so amazing and classy. Everything about this show is just on another level and shares the story in a human way. I have never seen a Samurai cry or ever come close to showing that type of emotion. Episode 8 was a first and it not only made me cry but see Samurai in a way never portrayed in anything I have ever seen and it only made my love for this deepen. Shogun will in my opinion be regarded as the best example of what Samurai are, how they lived and died. Pure class
