I always love myself a good unrealistic fiction read! in this borderline fantasy book a young girl goes through the struggles and triumphs of telling a lie that changed her whole life! her entire life she pretends to be blind and deaf and must stick with it so she is not exposed as a liar. she goes so far even as to convince her parents and close loved ones that she is blind and deaf. she goes through the struggles of learning to speak, which are all documented in the book. her partner or accomplice, anne helps her learn her first word, “WAOOTUR” this book was so well written it was made into a movie! helen goes through the internal struggles of facing the consequences of being a pathological liar. she is successful in going through an education, pretending to learn how to speak, and giving speeches all without being discovered! she even learns to fly a plane!

Twilight, is a very incorrect book and movie. It is very obvious that Stephanie Meyer is not an actual vampire- like me. i would like this book much more if it were true and not vampirephobic, maybe would have like it more. While it was somewhat entertaining to watch it angered me that she believed a vampire, who was thousands of years old, could have fallen in love with a teenage girl, first of all, that is creepy and pedophillia, but it is also not true. The vampires would have killed Bella before they even got the chance to fall in love with her. I, like the responsible vampire i am, do not go outside or have social interactions with any people. I understand that in this book Edwards family does not drink blood but in the real world this does not exist. Also it angers me that Bella would ever even think to be disappointed to move to Washington. Washington is an amazing state filled with lots of beautiful vampires and sites. If there was a vampire family that didn't drink blood (as if!) they would be terminated immediately, either by guillotine or by exile into sun. I must end this review here because i have just been overcome with a crazy desire to drink my own blood, so goodbye.

I recently read this book as a part of my monthly book club. Me and the ladies wanted to freshen up our lives and feel young again. We were disappointed when we began to read it. The first chapter was promising but after that it all went downhill. while i appreciate Matthew Kellys style of writing it is just not for me. I would recommend this book to people who love to read books that just drone on and on. only one person in our little club enjoyed it and she spends her days knitting hats for her grandchildren. while i love reading self-help books this one was so unhelpful! I do not need someone to tell me how to battle resistance when I am able to battle it on my own. thank you for reading my review and taking my concerns into consideration.
