When I was younger my mom's favorite movie was the color purple. It was a movie of strength an also of hardship. I truly don't think that this play shows it.. It's to much singing in this I thought it was a movie The original is the best a reality of what was upon us in life.. This was just a show like the Tyler Perry mess I didn't like it muted most of it or turned it I wanted something like the original to make you feel the movie and understand To keep you watching I was not able to watch this It's like it was made in this era not a sequel but a play with no meaning or caring. Once again the original was the best this was some true mess
