I thought this film was utterly magical- like a piece of sacred music in itself. It is beautifully shot and edited and follows a diverse group of kirtan singers from all around the world: Snatam Kaur, Jai Uttal, Krishna Das and others. It looks at the world explosion in devotees to this form of meditation and spiritual practice. There are very moving scenes of a Jai Uttal concert in a maximum security prison and the joyous uplifting unifying and liberating effect the kirtan has on the incarcerated men. As soon as it finished I wanted to watch the whole thing again. A must for yogis everywhere.
