They should have done like Netflix, and MINDY should have been the main character. She was charismatic, cool and modern.... exactly what the audiences of 2022 want! No longer do we want or need another bland character like Sam! Hollywood catch up and listen! Otherwise, the movie was awesome, less camp and more scares, which is what we want. Though I though it could have been a lot more scarier. Tara is a great character and actress, but didn’t have the chops for the opening scene. You could feel Drew Barrymores fear in the original, but you also knew not to mess with her, Tara was not seasoned enough for this scene. I mean, they could have even thrown it on its head, and had the beginning scene be a teenage boy. That would have been fresh and a surprise for the audience. Showing a boy as a victim, turning that stereotypical masculine bull on its head, would have been amazing to watch. The originals were amazing, Neve, Courtney and David! Job well done. The cast of the original move had such charisma, and that really lacked with the new teenage cast, except the twins and Tara. Also pull back on the kills and give some time for character development! People go back for more when they love the characters, which only happens when you have time to watch them develop and fall in love with them. Lastly, when you find out who the killer is, it was such a let down and unbelievable. Billy and Stu were psychotic, it’s mesmerising to watch the end of the original! This movie had to beat that, and failed. I’ll defiantly be watching it again, and recommend everyone go watch it! I just hope they are more daring and more SELECTIVE with the casting if there’s a sequel. No more bland actors, no more BLAND ACTORS!

The reason why people still today re-watch shows like Buffy The vampire slayer is for the love of the cast. I've watched both seasons of Sabrina and they are both very well done, but I don't love them. The reason being is that there is no heart to this show, more time spent making sure it looks and sounds entertaining. Sabrina's relationship with her friends and the scenes they share seem more of an after thought to everything else. Each characters story line and dialogue seems rushed without much depth, which is a shame. Because as good as the show is, is selling it's self short by not giving the characters room to grow naturally. I want to watch the story unfold, not be told this is what the story is.

Really job well done, I think the movie is good but didn't have enough gay content, it played too safe. The series did show intimacy between two gay men and didn't push the camera away or held back the passion between them, which is important for these scenes to be authentic. And I completely relate to Victor been the one everyone counts on, which really is a true statement for all young gay men in a family atmosphere and with their friends. I think for season two there should be some real character studies for Victor most importantly, showing in depth the real anxieties a young gay man goes through coming out. And let us get to know his friends on a deeper level, as well as showing the parents understand of the LGBTQ community which did not happen in the movie. Keep up the good work and lets mature up the content just a little ey.

No no no, this movie should not have happened! I love all the Halloween movies and Jamie, but this was gore over substance. They brought back some original character, with no explanation of what they’d been doing for the past decades, no explanation to how they knew each other, whether they still knew Laurie?!?!? There was no climatic reunion with these original characters and Laurie, which would have been amazing. They took Tommy and turned him into a really unlikeable character. They took away the suspense and mystery surrounding Michael, and replace it would useless killings after killings, replace good story telling and letting scenes play out, with blood and unnecessary carnage. Now the flash backs, that’s what they should have gone for, they could have done soooo much, they could have even done some flash back to what Lindsey and Tommy had been doing all these years!!?!? They could have shown you where they ran too after they left Laurie in the house when they were kids. It could have shown them going through ptsd as kids and maybe that brought them together as close friends. But instead they went with cheap frills...... and they had a additional year to get this right for the fans. They need to either cancel the next one or go back to the drawing board! And bring us the quality the life long fans deserve! And to think the same people that did this one did the previous.
