this movie might just be ahead of its time even though it got introduced to us when it is needed the most. the movie literally implies an attack on the power play that goes on in front of our eyes as well as on the inside that we turn a blind eye to. yes, it was random and chaotic but that was the whole point of the movie. the characters were relatable and the unattainable as well as superficial aspects of most famous detectives were broken down. this wasn't purely about nostalgia and that is what made the movie authentic. it's sad to see that most bengalis cannot grasp the individuality of this film. it was a perfect blend of intellect and entertainment but most people just want either, that's why they couldn't wrap their heads around this beautiful movie.
