So contrived. Forcing a narrative using such unrealistic and clichéd drivel. Weak and in fact undermines what I assume its intention to be. I have no issue with its intention, but please, don't do a Hallmark thing

Lazy film making. It wouldn't have taken much effort to get rid of all the "errors".Some people turn into vampires, some don't, where was his grandad? Vampires don't eat people. The main dude started off okay and then his acting got sooo bad as the film went on. A copy paste script of tired American movie clichés.

Only decent actors - Wagner Mourer and Kirsten Dunst. Weak clichéd script and the young female journalist poor acting skills. And the old guy. Wooden acting. Ok film

Kate Winslet is exceptional in the role! So different and so clever with her peculiar mannerisms. I'm watching this because she is so good but the whole production is excellent. It's quirky and clever but your average jo might not be so blown away as me

Very good! Only thing ,if you are one to watch out for illogical stuff , there's quite a bit of it. More than normal. That spoilt it for me quite a bit. I still give it 4 stars though. Watch it and maybe you'll see why. Excellent acting, and directing.

Weak script, holes in the plot, bad directing. Otherwise, great cast, great cinematography, good concept.

Biggest flaw - weak clichéd American script. Really inexcusable. For such incredibly creative visuals and storyline - such awful highly Amricanised lines.

Sad and disturbing. Acting etc superb. No sugar coated idealistic or clichéd mothers in this. Which is refreshing.
