It’s way better than the old version. Unnecessary stupid plots are cut, and casting is much better. Acting of the casts are great. Ferrel’s acting is way better than Eastwood. Eastwood is really bad in the movie, especially when he discovered his leg having been amputated. Ferrell’s reaction is realistic. Kidman’s acting is impressive. Elle’s acting is mediocre, but I lover her looks and was happy to see her in this movie. Only thing that I would change is the casting of Edwina. While I like Dunst, she is a miscast in my opinion. Her casting as Edwina makes me think that she was casted only because of her role in the Antoinette movie. Just because of a long skirt, updo, and a Victorian touch. I don’t relate her as Edwina at all. Overall, I loved this movie.
