This is a fascinating read which provides insights into Japanese culture and descriptions of our beautiful, wild, west coast of British Columbia. Alternating chapters focus on characters Nao and then Ruth which leads the story to its fascinating conclusion. The book challenges conventional thinking. The ideas it contains will have me pondering for awhile. I recommend this book
