This series is applaudable for positive messages regarding self-esteem, encouragement, anti-bullying, physical fitness, and helping others. This is where the Ninja Kidz plot line shines and excels.
The marketing aspect of the show is very apparent. A necessary insertion--this is how the bills get paid.
One surprisingly negative observation, and totally unnecessary event, was when, upon completion of a successful and difficult ascension of a mountain, Shane (the father) shouts out , "Let's go, Brandon!" Why are the decision makers of this show inserting politics and a political platform in this type of entertainment? The political phrase is a jaded expression of swearing. So, for two very real reasons, the exclamation was a derogatory and unacceptable one. That tarnishes and undermines the essential positive messages the rest of the show promotes.
I hope future episodes can steer clear of these topics and focus on the positive, helpful, and moral content. We need more of that and omission of political fodder children's television.
