Craig Roberts

I've read a few of Stephen Baxter's books, but I'm not here to compare and contrast. In a nutshell this book is epic in scale as it explores the far flung future ( eventually ) But does so mainly through the eyes of two separate protagonists, so doesn't delve too deeply into the How's, where's and why's. I recommend you read it as it will stay with you in your thoughts long after finishing.
