I didn't enjoy the movie that much. Why? Okay, first of all, Orion and all the Night Entities was actually interesting and unique. I was very interested in the beginning, but then out of nowhere, Adult Orion is actually telling his daughter a STORY. That just ruined the entire movie for me! Because Orion and all the Night Entities could have been a real experience in the movie, and then Orion tells his daughter and he didn't even make up a good ending and then his daughter, out of nowhere, says that I want to be in the story too!! And then she makes it a good ending and tells young Orion that she's her future daughter... Okay, just no. That ruined the entire movie for me, because that's actually boring and then a random guy just came up and there was a TIME MACHINE?? HUH?? And they were fighting MONSTERS? Sure, it was a story, but Orion and the Night Entities alone was even better but the thing I disliked about the movie most is, that this had to be a story rather than a movie. Like, they didn't have to make it a "story", like Orion could've actually experienced this. :/ Got REALLY boring in the middle and the ending, with random things?? And seriously, it's OKAY to be scared from the dark, especially for children. So no, this movie does not exactly encourage kids to not be scared of the dark. And, this movie was actually a bit- disturbing for kids. The sleep entity was literally making a baby go to sleep with a MAGICAL HAMMER? And SUFFOCATING a human with a MAGICAL PILLOW? Just no. Could've been a better movie. :/
