Big fan of Shawn Mullins but every artist has to have a dud album and in my view this was his.
It sounded as if he was being dragged away from his natural sound in search of another mass market hit , lots of very un-Mullins like sound effects and over production . Thankfully in later albums he returned to what he does best ... story telling with real instruments
