Today is 9-11-22 and as usual I was up at 7:45 and prepared to watch Sunday Morning on CBS. I started watching this excellent program 25 seasons ago with Charles Kuralt as moderator. This program and the segments they produce provide information, entertainment, current news and a segment at the end of each program to remind us of the wonders of nature! In all my years of watching this program and encouraging my family and friends to also watch…..today was the FIRST TIME I was ever DISAPPOINTED in their segment choices!! Although Queen Elizabeth II had passed away earlier this week, today was THE ANNIVERSARY of 9-11-01. The only acknowledgment of this tragic anniversary was a non-verbal news slide that took 20 seconds. I will continue to watch Sunday Morning because of its years of excellence in programming, but I wanted to and personally needed to raise my voice on this anniversary’s omission! 💔
