I was very disappointed in this movie. Especially the parts about the plagues and the parting of the Red Sea. The people were supposed to cross over on dry land while God parted the sea, and not wade through waist high water. Another thing that bothered me was Moses carrying around a sword instead of the staff. God didn’t tell him to raise up his sword, he commanded him to use his staff. I also don’t remember reading anywhere in the Bible that Moses got caught up in the water’s and nearly drowning after the sea closed in on Pharaoh and his army. And what was that about God speaking to Moses in the person of a visible little boy?
