I absolutely loved this show, look I’m Native American and I normally stray away from these types of wilderness shows. But what caught my attention- on season one (1) episode four (4), actually used the corrects terms and words when talking about indigenous people. Here’s the part, when Jordan said “ This kinnikinnick.” And in the captions it said “Indigenous people smoked kinnikinnick for ceremonial and medicinal purposes” Is what I loved and what I loved more was he fact that they did their Research and actually showed what they learned instead of using more neutral terms in stead of using what they were actually called when they are talking or showing something belonging to culture (s).
