I'm not from DR but my family is from Nicaragua. I think the show is very relatable. As an immigrant the culture shuck we experienced in the 1980's moving to the USA. Proved to be a challenge for all of us. This made me cry and laugh at the same time. It rinded me of how hard it was to fit in an learn a new language. I loved it and I hope to see more shows like this one I the near future.

It shows how hard it is for woman to get help when they have been verbally and mentally abused. How difficult it is to get assistance in very broken system. I'm glad someone actually shows the reality of abused woman in the welfare system. How hard it is for them to get out of it. You can't get a good paying job so you can't afford daycare. So you can't even get decent housing.
