I liked the movie. It was playful and fun, I agree on the part of that the storyline was a bit messy and rushed. But it was a musical im not sure what people were expecting. Of course it wouldnt be as the original, nothing ever is. I loved Regina George in this film she definitely was and looked like the mean girl she needed to be and karen played the role hilariously and had the look for it when playing dumb. Gretchen was meh, nothing stood out for me. And as for Angourie rice playing katie, she should not have been a mean girl, she looks like an average school girl side character nothing more. She is not hot nor cute enough to look like a mean girl and didnt really play the role as one either. The rainbow dancing and singing scene in the hallway was weird to me, didnt really fit. And the movie was VERY modernized when it came to social media and clothing. I however loved the haloween scene very much. But again Angourie shouldve never been in this movie to begin with

Qhy wouldnt u get young adults to act like teenagers for the show. You got Gen Z acting like Gen z saying bruh as if the older generation even said that. Not to mention the slight encouragement for SA by not asking for consent. Highly disappointed in cast, but cant expect for them to act like something they're not. Only great thing was seeing the old cast
