Vanity project of an old white man, centering other white men. For 3.5 hours you see more of DiCaprio and DeNiro than you would ever think possible. It kept me flabbergasted how one could hijack such an important story of indigenous tragedy and center it around white men. The story telling seems dated and tone deaf. There’s so much talent out there and yet we have to sit through a movie that seems like it was shot 30 years ago. Such a waste of time!
