If the author was aiming to reproduce the sensation of being in a frustrating and nonsensical dream, then he has succeeded. I had to skim big chunks of the book as I didn’t want to disappear with the narrator down yet another rabbit hole. Reading this book was not a comfortable experience as it had no kind of resolution and I often felt like shouting at the main character.
