Rajinikanth gave one of his best over the top performance glazed with core acting at its best. He proved once again that he is the untouchable star India has been gifted with. Hair raising action scenes. But wow. Director Murugadoss has put in lots of focus into the plot's twists & dark yet riveting screenplay. This was backed big time with Santosh Sivan's pic perfect cinematography & Anirudh's BGM. All in all a fantabulous entertainment with great social message but missed the heroine's good indulgence inside the plot plus expected the villain Sunil Shetty to be more active in more frames. 4.8/5
