I was left utterly speechless after watching this movie. As a period drama film, I expected lots of French and lots of Vivaldi and liszt. I thought it will be full of boring slow pace with least distinction in the character's emotion but I was wrong. It is a perfect spring and fall watching movie.Just grab a coffee or something hand snack and vola, you are in France with these people. This was my first Sophia Coppola movie to watch and I felt it is completely beautiful. Most importantly I want to highlight a point that this film looks more beautiful from a female perspective, a young careless girl who has been taught the ethics of pursuing a great marriage but also her loneliness throughout this journey. The filter used in this film is absolutely beautiful. And the scores gives the right transition and suddenly pops out of a smooth light mood.Girls and women will definitely love this. And ofcourse people who are fond of art, dresses, gardens, flowers, cakes, heels, beauty, romance, pink tinted cheeks, indie music, and has a thing for history, will love this movie whole heartedly. As an HP fan it kinda gives a hufflepuff vibe. But still I will give it a 4 because I expected a bit more of an ending but anyways it was good.
