Alien is my favorite movie franchise. It felt like we got to see the greatest hits put together into one movie. There were some moments that made me jump in my seat. I like how we got a chance to see the facehuggers a lot more. I do wish we could've gotten to know the characters a little bit more in the beginning and explore life on Jackson's Star a little more. The deaths were great, but I feel they would've impacted more had we gotten to know the characters more. I think what some fans don't realize is that this movie was meant to be released on Hulu, but Disney decided to make it theatrical after they started shooting. Who would want to rewrite a script after that? Other than that, great movie! Personally I give it 8.5/10.
