I saw this movie when it first came out and it is one of my favorite WWII movies. Besides the fact it is based on a true story, I especially like that the movie had over a dozen actors that were beginning their careers or were towards the end of their careers. And of course, you have to like a movie with Steve McQueen riding around on a motorcycle.
